FAQS

Fees and Insurance
Bedrock Counseling is private pay and does not accept insurance for the following reasons: EMDR therapy is a specialized modality that requires time, money, and ongoing trainings for therapists to remain skilled at it over time. Billing requirements are time consuming for many clinicians. Unfortunately, many insurance companies pay a fraction of a therapist's rate and add extra demands that may interfere with the therapeutic process. Many clients prefer the privacy of remaining anonymous by not having an official diagnosis, which most insurance companies will not pay for therapy sessions if there isn't an official diagnosis.

Bedrock Counseling does accept Health Savings Account (HSA) payments. Payment is expected before service. Credit cards, cash, and checks are accepted.

Please be mindful to think through any significant recent changes or life events that have contributed to the challenges, which has led you to seek out treatment.

This list should include the name and dosage of the medication, side effects, effects, and the length of time you’ve been taking your medication as prescribed.
